On May 19th, with support from Citi Community Development, CommCap launched “THE LINK” a free online service that connects all small businesses and downtown resources in one place (http://thelink.commcap.org). This pilot program provides technical assistance tailored to the growth and development needs of select small businesses Downtown.

The program launched at Citibank's Downtown branch, with Mayor Bill Finch in attendance along with the Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Special Services District, the Black and Hispanic Chambers of Commerce, the City’s Office of Planning and Economic Development and Small and Minority Business Resource Office.

CommCap launched “THE LINK” to support its downtown investments while promoting and supporting Downtown developments and initiatives.  Marketing consultants are already assisting several businesses including Rainy Faye, Flour and Flower, Gumdrop Swap, Epernay and Amici Miei.
